Do I need to own TRX to play with USDT?
Not necessarily. On the Tron network (TRC-20) you can move USDT without owning TRX if the casino or your wallet supports Gas-Free, a feature that lets you pay the network fee in USDT instead of in TRX. Without Gas-Free you need a small amount of TRX, or TRX you have staked, to cover the fee.
This is the biggest practical difference from other networks. USDT on Tron is sent using the TRC-20 standard, and such a transfer does not draw on free bandwidth and energy the way a plain TRX transfer does. Gas-Free, which rolled out during 2025 in wallets like TronLink, lets you pay that fee in USDT at a fixed cost. That spares you the step of first buying TRX just to move your stablecoins.
The alternative is to freeze (stake) a smaller amount of TRX in your wallet, which gives you daily energy that covers USDT transfers at no extra cost. If you play regularly with USDT, one of these setups is worth configuring once.
What does a Tron transaction cost, and how fast is it?
A plain TRX transfer is almost free and confirms in around three seconds, with full finality in under a minute. A USDT transfer on TRC-20 normally costs roughly 1 to 4 dollars in network fees, unless you have TRX staked or use Gas-Free. That is still far faster than Bitcoin, which averages ten minutes per block.

Most Tron casinos hold an offshore license from Curaçao, Anjouan, or Costa Rica. We generally favor operators with a Curaçao license, the most regulated of the three.
- Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) under the new LOK law, in force since December 24, 2024. The old master-license model has been retired, and the CGA now issues individual licenses with requirements for KYC, AML, responsible gambling, and independent complaint handling. - Anjouan issues licenses under the Computer Gaming Licensing Act 007 from 2005, through the island's offshore finance and gaming authority. Anjouan is cheaper and less regulated than Curaçao, oversight is weaker, and the validity of its licenses has been questioned. - Costa Rica does not issue a dedicated gambling license. Operators that claim a license from there effectively run on a local business permit, with no national gaming authority and no active oversight of the gambling operation itself.

What does playing at an offshore-licensed casino mean?
- National self-exclusion registers do not apply. Schemes like Spelpaus, GAMSTOP, ROFUS, and Spillesperren only cover operators licensed in those countries. A Tron casino remains reachable even if you have self-excluded at home.

What is a wagering requirement?
A wagering requirement is the number of times you must play through a bonus before the winnings can be withdrawn.
